We chose THIS because we wanted our children to grow up in an international community where they could adapt easily and experience how connected and diverse our world is.
What we value most is how the school makes children’s natural curiosity the starting point for learning. We love that their questions inspire exploration and discovery, and that students genuinely care about one another.
As a family, we feel very included in the school community. The approachable teachers, involved parents and welcoming atmosphere have helped us feel at home. Our children love making friends, playing outdoors and spending their breaks on the school’s excellent football pitch.

When we first visited THIS, we had few expectations. But after meeting a member of the school team and seeing the students in their classrooms, we left with one clear thought: “This would be perfect for our son.”
What impressed us most was the school’s inquiry-based approach to learning. Through experiments, creative projects and hands-on activities, children are encouraged to ask questions, investigate, make connections and understand why things happen.
Our son adapted to the school quickly, found new friends easily and was excited about all the new things he could learn and experience. Science and experiments are among his favourite activities, especially when he can explore how things work.
We are very happy with our decision to choose THIS. What we value most is that the school keeps children’s curiosity alive and encourages them to become more independent, confident and eager to explore new ideas.

When we first visited THIS, we were impressed by the engagement and enthusiasm we experienced, and by the opportunity for our children to discover the world beyond Trondheim.
We especially appreciate the project-based approach to learning, where different subjects are connected through central themes and children discover how knowledge can be applied. We also love the welcoming community, where families have diverse backgrounds and there is so much to learn from one another.
As parents, we see that the school community is a strong foundation of THIS. What our child’s favourite things about school? Learning new things, kind classmates and, of course, speaking English!
