Here at THIS, we understand that by fostering a love for reading in our students, we provide them with one of the greatest gifts. Research shows that students who read avidly perform better in all subjects – even math! Through books, one acquires knowledge, develops emotional intelligence, and encounters new places, cultures, and people. We offer a wide selection of both non-fiction and fiction – from picture books to young adult literature. You’ll find assistance and links to online resources for borrowing books in Norwegian, English, and a selection of other languages. The non-fiction section is organized according to the Dewey Decimal System and is easy to navigate. Our library is more than just physical books. Our librarian assists teachers, classes, and individual students with digital literacy, access to quality digital resources, citation, and more.
