Information about After School Clubs
As part of building well-rounded students, ThIS provides a wide range of After school activities for students in Year 1 through Year 10. It offers students from all levels-beginners to advanced-with opportunities to try new activities or extend their skills in their areas of interest. It gives the school the opportunity to prepare for performance events such as drama and music activities, and get sport teams ready for competitions.
At ThIS, we see this as an important part of student life, but it is necessary to note that our activities are optional and some families may choose to achieve these goals in other community settings.
It is important for students to select and attend those activities which they feel committed to, as well as provide interest outside the academic setting.
We strongly encourage all students to participate in the after school program as it offers a unique opportunity to meet new friends, be a risk-taker and share and learn new passions whilst having fun! The program enables students to learn new skills and fully become part of our international school community.
“There is more in you than you think” (Kurt Hahn)
We are therefore exited to be able to offer such diverse activities such as Homework club, Hockey, Ball, Soccer, Basketball, Art, Cooking, Piano, Guitar, Drama, Science, Math, French and Drawing are just some clubs to mention.
Price: kr.400,- for a single club incl. food. If students join more than two clubs, it will be kr.350,- for the third club. Siblings pay kr.350,- for every clubs they join.
