Our library collection continues to grow and currently comprises of over 9,000 titles in the following categories:
- Non fiction
- Fiction
- Picture books
- Chapter books
- Graphic novels
- Audio books
- Videos
- Home Readers (fiction and non fiction)
- Guided Readers (fiction and non fiction)
- Teaching Resources
Although the majority of the titles are written in English, there is good selection of Norwegian titles together with a few in other languages including, Swedish, French, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish.
The library system was designed to compliment the Trondheim Folkebibliotek (and most Norwegian schools) by utilizing the same Bibliofil computer software to process the collection and monitor loans and returns.
We continue to have a close working relationship with the Folkebibliotek particularly with respect to obtaining broader research material in Norwegian language.
By virtue of movable shelving modules, the library space is readily adapted for small multimedia presentations and other groups.
On a day to day basis the library is used extensively by classes, tutorials and student project groups.
