Trondheim International School offers up to 300% temporary positions in the Primary Years Program (1st through 6th grade), the Middle Years Program (7th through 10th grade) and/or before/after school program/SFO.
ThIS is seeking a teacher in the Primary Years Program.
ThIS is seeking a Norwegian language teacher in the Primary Years Program.
ThIS is seeking a pedagogue to support students in all subject areas in the Middle Years Program.
ThIS is seeking assistants/miljøarbeider to support students in all subject areas.
ThIS is seeking assistants in the before/after school program/SFO.
All school positions start from 01.08.2018.
SFO positions start from 30.07.2018.
Primary Years Program/Barneskole: Primary Years IB Teacher/Klasselærer
All subjects taught in English.
Both international and Norwegian classroom teachers encouraged to apply.
Primary Years Program/Barneskole: IB Norwegian Language Teacher (1st through 4th grade)
The Norwegian language teacher would collaborate with the contact teachers to support the Primary Years Program and Norwegian language development of students.
Middle Years Program/Ungdomsskole: Experienced Pedagogue
Working with special needs students, both individually and in small groups in all subject areas.
The position could include substitution in all subjects.
Before/after School Program/SFO: SFO Assistants
Assistants for the before/after school program and Holiday Clubs run during school holidays.
We are looking for internationally minded teachers and assistants that are willing to contribute to an active school community, with a collaborative and open-minded approach to teaching and learning.
|Qualifications for teaching positions|
Approved education (barneskole- og/eller ungdomsskolelær)
International work experience is encouraged, but not required (all positions)
Current police record check (politiattest) must be provided if offered a position (all positions)
Knowledge about the IB programs is preferred, but not required (all positions)
Language fluency in English (written and spoken) required (all positions)
Language fluency in Norwegian desired (all positions)
