We are thrilled to announce that our PYP6 students have reached the national finals in this year’s NysgjerrigPer competition!
NysgjerrigPer is a nationwide competition for 1st to 7th-grade students where the goal is to develop a research question and complete a research project. Very IB!
The NysgjerrigPer Competition is one of the Norwegian Research Council’s measures to promote children’s interest and understanding of research and science.
2668 students submitted 172 projects this year and our PYP6 class’ entry was chosen by a jury as one of the 3 classes from our region (North).
The final winner will be chosen on the 10th of May.
The students’ research project “Why do people seek entertainment that makes them afraid?” can be found here.
